The Adventures of the X-Men was a comic book series based on X-Men: The Animated Series. The series lasted twelve issues and was published between April 1996 to March 1997. All twelve issues were original stories and not based off episodes from the series. Issue three did a cross over with Spider-Man and led into Adventures of Spider-Man #3.
