Sylvia Lopez was a scientist that worked for Kingpin. She worked with Jonathan Ohnn to create the Time Dilation Accelerator and later fell in love with him.

Kingpin assigned Sylvia Lopez to work with Jonathan Ohnn to create the Time Dilation Accelerator.
After months of hard work, the Time Dilation Accelerator was finally completed. However, when Sylvia and Ohnn tested the Time Dilation Accelerator there was an accident and Ohnn gained the power to create and control portals.
Ohnn later caught Sylvia telling Kingpin about his powers. As Ohnn asked why she would betray him to Fisk, Sylvia explained that Fisk was really a powerful crime lord called the Kingpin and he owned her.
Ohnn, now calling himself Spot, attempted to take over Kingpin's criminal empire. However, Kingpin revealed that his men were holding Sylvia hostage and he would have her killed unless Spot killed Spider-Man. However, Spider-Man ended up helping Spot rescue Sylvia.
When Spider-Man learned that one of Spot's time dilation was in the sky and growing bigger he deduced that if not closed it could pull the entire Earth into it destroying the planet in the process.
Sylvia, Spider-Man and Spot traveled in a plane to the portal in the sky. However, Spot knew that the only way he could close the portal was from the inside which would also permanently trap him in limbo. As Spot headed toward the portal Sylvia grabbed hold of him and professed her love for Spot. As they entered the portal it closed and they were both presumably trapped in limbo.
