The Spider Seekers were small flying robots created by Spencer Smythe.
The Spider Seekers were somehow able to lock onto Spider-Man's unique spider/human hybrid DNA and track him down.
There was also a camera in the center of the Spider Seekers which transmitted information back to whoever was controlling them.
After Spencer was believed to have died his son, Aistair began producing them for the Kingpin.
