The razor bat was designed by Hobgoblin.
It was designed in the shape of a bat.
Because of its shape it acted like a boomerang and would return to Hobgoblin after he threw it.
If thrown hard enough the razor bat could slice through people of objects.
Spider-Man once used Green Goblin's razor bat to damage the Time Dilation Accelerator.
