The Queensboro Bridge, also known as the 59th Street Bridge - because its Manhattan end is located between 59th and 60th Streets - and officially titled the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge, is a cantilever bridge over the East River in New York City that was completed in 1909. It connects the neighborhood of Long Island City in the borough of Queens with Manhattan, passing over Roosevelt Island.

History[]

During a thunderstorm, Peter Parker traveled by bus from Manhattan to his house in Queens, via the Queensboro Bridge.[1]

Harry Osborn was caught in traffic on the Queensboro Bridge when he heard news over his car radio, regarding an explosion at OsCorp, the smoke from which he could see on the horizon.[2]

When Spider-Man caught Tombstone running out of his house, he followed him to the Queensboro Bridge. Spider-Man stopped Tombstone's car on the bridge, and they began to fight. However, Tombstone was able to throw Spider-Man off the Queensboro Bridge and into the river. Tombstone then drove away.[3]
