The New York Herald was a large-distribution newspaper based in New York City.
History[]
After J. Jonah Jameson fired Eddie Brock from working at the Daily Bugle, Brock tried to get a job at the New York Herald. Brock had an interview with the Herald's publisher, Mr. King. Mr. King had heard from J. Jonah Jameson that Eddie Brock was nothing but trouble. However, Brock convinced King to hire him. Shortly after being hired the New York Herald building was attacked by the Tarantula Spider Slayer. After Spider-Man defeated the Tarantula Spider Slayer, Mr. King realized that Jameson was right about Brock and fired him.

- The newspaper Eddie Brock interviewed at was not named in the episode, Return of the Spider Slayer. However, the newspaper was named in its comic book adaptation in Spider-Man Adventures.
- The real New York Herald shut down in 1924, 71 years before the publication of Spider-Man Adventures #4.
