High school and college[]

In high school Liz Allen dated Flash ThompsonPeter Parker had a crush on her. However, both Liz and Flash would often bully Peter. In college Liz and Flash broke up and Flash began to date Felicia Hardy. Around this time Liz stopped teasing Peter and the two of them became friends. When Mary Jane Watson moved to town her and Liz became very good friends and would often spend time with each other.

While going to school at Empire State University, Liz Allen started worked as a waitress at the Coffee Bean.



When Hydro-Man began to stalk Mary Jane, Liz let her hide at her apartment. However, Hydro-Man was able to find out where Mary Jane was and kidnapped her. Spider-Man was later able to save her.

In the comics[]

While in high school Liz had a crush on Peter Parker.

Liz is also the stepsister of Mark Raxton who later became one of Spider-Man's enemies known as the Molten Man.

Liz later married Harry Osborn and the two of them had a son named Normie Osborn. Harry then became the Green Goblin once again and terrorized Liz and Normie. After Harry's death Liz breaks ties with her friends Peter and Mary Jane.

Liz Allan later started to date Foggy Nelson. However, Mysterio manipulated Foggy onto having an affair in a plot to drive Daredevil insane. Liz felt like Foggy let her down and she ended their relationship.


In the Ultimate comics, Liz Allan was the daughter of Fred Dukes a.k.a. the Blob. Liz later learned that she was a mutant and developed the power to control fire. Liz Allan later joined the X-Men and took the code name, Firestar.

In movies[]

In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Liz Allan was renamed Liz Toomes. This version of the character is the daughter of Adrian Toomes a.k.a. the Vulture.
