Fox Kids Take Over '98 was a contest held by Fox Kids in 1998. Children could vote for their favorite shows and the show that won was played during the entire Fox Kids block.

Jennifer Hale also recorded new dialogue when Felicia Hardy was used in one of the commercials to advertise Fox Kids Take Over '98.
Shocker also appeared in one of these promos. However, an unknown actor recorded Shocker's lines, not Jim Cummings.
During these commercials Spider-Man would "interview" characters from other Fox Kids shows. These characters included Godzilla from Godzilla: The Series and Astronema from Power Rangers in Space. These interviews had Spider-Man asking questions and the characters answering. However, their answers were just reused footage from their respective shows.
