Arnim Zola is the leader of HYDRA. This version of Arnim Zola appeared in the television series Marvel's Spider-Man.
History[]
Spider-Island[]
Arnim Zola had Crossbones and some HYDRA agents steal a key to New York City's National Vibranium Repository. When Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, and Black Widow fought Crossbones, they allowed themselves to be captured so they would be taken to Arnim Zola.
When Crossbones met up with Zola, he gave Zola the vibranium. It was then revealed that Arnim Zola planned on using the vibranium to create invincible weapons for HYDRA.
Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, and Black Widow then broke free from the cell HYDRA was keeping them in. While Black Widow and Spider-Gwen fought the HYDRA agents, Spider-Man attacked Zola.
Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, and Black Widow ended up being surrounded by Arnim Zola and the HYDRA agents. However, several New York citizens, who had all been given spider powers by a virus that was released in New York City, arrived and saved the three heroes. Zola knew that he was defeated and retreated.
